Meet the Team
I know how vulnerable it can feel to look for the right therapist—like you're sharing a piece of your story before you're even ready. I have also been on the other side of the couch too, and so I don’t take that trust lightly.
That’s why I am committed to making support accessible to where you are at - no pressure, no pretense.
Come as you are. Grow as you need.
Come as you are. Grow as you need.

Hi, I’m Holly, the founder of Internal Expressions Counselling, and I am so grateful you are here. I am a therapist who believes that therapy should feel like a safe exhale—a space where you can be fully yourself, without pressure or judgment and that is exactly how I show up to the space with my clients. Whether you’re navigating trauma, stress, life transitions, or feeling something you cannot quite name, my role is to meet you where you are, with warmth, compassion, and honesty while even sharing a laugh or two along the way.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working across diverse settings—including as a clinical supervisor at Alberta Health Services, Wood’s Homes, CP Kids and Families, and in other private practice settings. These experiences have shaped my understanding of how deeply personal—and different—each healing journey is.
I specialize in trauma-informed therapy and integrate somatic therapy approaches to support nervous system regulation and deeper healing. Whether I’m working with a teen, an individual, or a parent, I focus on creating a relationship where you feel respected, grounded, and at ease. Because when therapy feels comfortable, connection and growth naturally follow.
I’m here to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and move forward in a way that feels aligned and sustainable. You don’t have to do it alone—and you don’t have to have it all figured out to begin.

I bring my full self to sessions—real, grounded, sometimes funny, but always present.
Therapy with me might include somatic tools, reflection, emotional honesty... and a lot of laughter!
I take my work seriously, but not myself—I believe growth can be deep and light at the same time.

My kind of weekend includes coffee in hand, one or both of my dogs at my feet, and the inevitable “are you still watching” screen as I fly through as much reality TV as possible!
